 The Power Macintosh G5 2.3 Dual Processor PCI-X features dual 2.3 GHz PowerPC 970fx G5 processors each with an optimized AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processing unit and 512k level 2 on-chip cache. Connectivity includes USB 2.0, FireWire "400" and "800", two single-link DVI ports (no ADC port), optical digital audio in/out, and support for AirPort Extreme (802.11g) and Bluetooth 1.1.

All of the "multiple core" equipped Power Macintosh G5 models have three open PCI-Express (PCIe) expansion slots. The Power Macintosh G5 Dual Core (2.3) uses the same easy-to-upgrade "anodized aluminum alloy" case as all other Power Macintosh G5 models with the same removable side panel for easy access to internal components. Likewise, it is divided into four different thermal zones with nine computer-controlled fans for optimum cooling.

This used Apple PowerMac G5 Dual Core desktop has been extensively tested, thoroughly cleaned, and is guaranteed to arrive in perfect working order.  This unit has a slightly separated/ damaged rear foot but will stand straight.  It has a patch of obvious scratches on the left side and some stains/ marks on the casing but is priced accordingly. It comes with an OS installed and copies of original Apple OS X install disc (10.4.2) that includes a bundled software package with iDVD, iMovie, GarageBand, a used Apple Keyboard & mouse and power-cord.
